Habitat and season

Warm coastal pelagic schools.

マルソウダより体高があり、胸びれが比較的長い魚です。頭の後ろの有鱗域が後方へ細く伸びる形も確認し、体の丸さだけで判定しません。

ヒスタミン対策として釣った直後から冷却し、常温のバケツへ溜めない。加熱や酢では温度管理不良を補えません。
