Black seabream, also known as chinu or kurodai, feeds around structure and estuary margins. Float and bottom-lure methods approach it differently.

Habitat and season

Harbours, rocky edges and brackish water.

A lightly weighted bait drifts with a small stream of groundbait. The aim is to keep the hook bait moving naturally at the feeding depth.
