Caprodon schlegelii
Redbar anthias are not red versions of isaki. Sex-related colour differences are common; males show dark upper-body markings. They are encountered around offshore reefs.

イサキに似た名前だがハタ科の魚。赤橙色で、雄では背中寄りの暗い斑紋が目立つ。沖のコマセ釣りなどで出会う。
背びれの棘と多本針に注意。船の指定オモリ・仕掛け長を優先する。
