Pseudoblennius percoides
Despite its Japanese name, anahaze is a sculpin, not a true goby. A large mouth and variable mottled colour suit its ambush feeding around seaweed and rocks.

名前にハゼと付くが、カジカ科の魚。大きな口で小魚やエビを襲い、小さなワームにもよく反応する。茶色・緑色など体色には幅がある。
頭部の突起や針先に注意。毒棘のあるカサゴ類と混同したまま素手でつかまない。
